The painter and sculptor Mallfred Keresturi was born in Romania in 1954, and has been living and working in Sweden since 1981. After his years at the art academy in Bucharest (1971-1973) he spent several years in different sculpture workshops to further develop his technique. Today his creations vary from oil and aquarelle paintings to bronze and marble sculptures in various shapes and sizes.
His first exhibition was held in 1983 at Galleri St Lars in the Swedish city of Linköping. This has been followed by yearly solo and collectors exhibitions in various locations: Galleri Ingela S (Stockholm), Arbetets Museum (Norrköping), Vadstena Slott (Vadstena), Södertälje Konsthandel (Södertälje), Tensta Konsthall (Tensta) and Romele Konsthall (Lund), Galleri Blå (Linköping), Art Expo 2016 (Milano) to mention a few. Some of his works can be seen as public decorations, mostly scattered over the region of Linköping.
